Reliance Jio Launches Rs 55 Entertainment Plan With Access to 1,000+ Live TV Channels In a move aimed at entertainment lovers, Reliance Jio has introduced an affordable Rs 55 recharge plan that offers access to more than 1,000 live TV channels for 30 days through the JioTV app.
The new plan is available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers and includes channels across more than 16 languages. Users will also gain access to over 150 premium channels as part of the package.
Popular channels available under the plan include Star Plus HD, Colors HD, Sony Entertainment Television HD, Discovery, and Animal Planet. The subscription also covers channels from JioStar, Sony Entertainment, Sun TV Network, Warner Bros. Discovery, and ETV Network.
However, Jio clarified that live sports channels from JioStar and Sony will not be included in this entertainment package.
The telecom giant said no separate activation process is required. Customers who recharge with the Rs 55 plan can simply log into the JioTV app using their Jio mobile number to start accessing premium content instantly.
The plan is designed exclusively for entertainment purposes and does not include voice calling, mobile data, or SMS benefits. The subscription can be used on only one mobile device at a time.
If users recharge multiple times, the next subscription cycle will automatically begin after the completion of the existing 30-day validity period.
