On the eighth day, the flower offering at the Sri Kanakadurga Temple, located on Indrakeeladri, was conducted grandly in a spiritual atmosphere.
The temple premises were filled with devotion as special prayers and flower offerings were made to the goddess. The temple chairman Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi), executive officer and special grade deputy collector V.K. Seena Naik, and trust board members participated and supervised the worship activities. The flower offering was performed with devotion and reverence for the goddess, utilizing various fragrant flowers including sampangi and chamanti.
The sight of the goddess adorned with flowers of various colors captivated the devotees. The chanting of Vedic mantras resonating in the temple, combined with the fragrance of flowers, made the premises even more sacred. On this occasion, the temple authorities made special arrangements to ensure that the devotees visiting for the darshan faced no inconvenience.
The organizers took all necessary measures to ensure that the program proceeded peacefully and orderly. The temple authorities expressed their wish for the goddess's blessings to be bestowed upon all devotees.
