Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh is rapidly positioning itself at the forefront of next-generation technology, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu leading efforts to build a robust quantum ecosystem in the state. At a high-level round table meeting held today on Quantum Valley and quantum hardware manufacturing, the Chief Minister emphasized that the future belongs to quantum computing and highlighted the state's proactive approach in aligning with India’s National Quantum Mission. Amaravati has already taken the lead by initiating the development of the Quantum Valley (AQV), aiming to create a comprehensive ecosystem for quantum technology research, innovation, and manufacturing. The project is being developed in collaboration with global and national tech giants like IBM, Tata Consultancy Services, and Larsen & Toubro. As part of this ambitious initiative, the state government plans to establish its first quantum computer in Andhra Pradesh and construct eight dedicated towers in Amaravati to accelerate quantum technology development. The Chief Minister reiterated that Andhra Pradesh aims to become a national leader in quantum innovation by leveraging early adoption and strategic partnerships.
