DMK Accepts People’s Verdict, Vows to Act as Strong Opposition: M. K. Stalin

DMK chief M.K. Stalin accepts election results, thanks voters, and says the party will now function as a strong and constructive opposition in Tamil Nadu politics.

 In a significant political development, DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin on Monday said the party humbly accepts the people’s mandate and congratulated the winners of the election. Emphasizing democratic values, he stated that the people’s verdict is final and must be respected.

 Stalin highlighted that over the past five years, his government implemented numerous welfare and development schemes, ensuring good governance across Tamil Nadu. He noted that the party sought votes based on its performance and achievements in office.

He thanked the people of Tamil Nadu for supporting the secular and progressive alliance led by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). Stalin added that his government worked for all citizens, including those who did not vote, maintaining fairness and integrity in governance.

Reflecting on his political journey, Stalin said he has witnessed both victories and defeats, stressing that ideology and principles matter more than electoral outcomes. He reaffirmed that the DMK’s political journey will continue without interruption.
