M. K. Stalin, the chief of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, delivered an emotional and politically charged message to the people of Tamil Nadu after the election results, calling the mandate “a historic and extraordinary verdict” that shook Indian politics. In his statement, Stalin said that from the very beginning of the party’s journey, critics and political opponents mocked and underestimated them.

Despite continuous attacks, humiliation, and allegations disguised as “neutral criticism,” the DMK leadership remained firm and trusted only the people of Tamil Nadu. He said the party never depended on outside forces and stood courageously in the electoral battlefield with the support of the masses alone. Stalin expressed gratitude to the people of Tamil Nadu, saying they embraced the party “with a mother’s affection” and stood by them during every political challenge.

He stated that the overwhelming votes received in the election reflected the emotional bond between the party and the public. According to him, the election result was not just a victory, but a political phenomenon that sent shockwaves across India.

The DMK leader also highlighted the role of young voters and children in shaping the political atmosphere of the election. He said families were influenced and emotionally guided by the younger generation, which became one of the deep-rooted reasons behind what he described as an “astonishing election.” Stalin suggested that the new generation strongly desired political transformation and participated enthusiastically in the democratic process.
