19th District Rally of Bharat Scouts and Guides Concludes Successfully in Vijayawada

The 19th District Bharat Scouts and Guides Rally concluded in Vijayawada, promoting leadership, teamwork, discipline and skill development among participants

The 19th District Rally of the South Central Railway State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Vijayawada District, concluded successfully after three days of competitions, skill-development activities, and cultural programs.

 The event saw participation from 317 Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers representing the Vijayawada, Secunderabad, Guntakal, Guntur, and Nanded districts. Participants showcased their talents in a variety of events, including scouting skills, first aid, tent pitching, gateway making, quizzes, cooking, short-film making, arts, cultural performances, handicrafts, and public speaking competitions.

 

The valedictory function was attended by Smt. Versha Sonakiya, Vice President of Bharat Scouts and Guides and President of SCRWWO, Vijayawada, along with senior railway officials and Scout and Guide leaders. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of scouting in promoting leadership, discipline, teamwork, self-reliance, and social responsibility among youth.

 Prizes and certificates were distributed to winners of various competitions, while the Overall Championship Trophy was awarded to the JPN Rangers of Vijayawada District for their outstanding performance. The rally concluded on a successful note, reinforcing the values of service, leadership, national integration, and character building among participants.
