On the occasion of Pournami, devotees flocked to Indrakeeladri.

On the occasion of Pournami, the crowd of devotees at Indrakeeladri temple in Vijayawada has significantly increased. From early morning, devotees have been arriving in large numbers to have darshan of Sri Durga Malleshwara Swamy. Considering the heavy influx of devotees, the temple authorities temporarily suspended the sale of ₹500 special darshan tickets and arranged for darshan through the golden entrance. The temple executive officer (EO) Sheena Naik and her husband also had darshan of the goddess from outside the sanctum sanctorum and proceeded forward.

Due to the high number of devotees, vehicular movement towards Ghat Road and Kanakadurga Nagar has been temporarily halted. For the convenience of the devotees, special buses are being operated under the auspices of the temple and RTC from the railway station and bus stands. These buses are constantly serving the devotees, who are overflowing with enthusiasm. Devotees have participated significantly in all the services conducted on the occasion of Pournami. The temple premises and surrounding areas have been filled with a gathering of devotees, creating a spiritual atmosphere.
