The governing body of Yogandhra has made key decisions regarding the enhancement of facilities for devotees, the acceleration of plant cultivation, and the construction of the queue complex.

The 7th meeting of the Dharmakartas Council of the Srisailam Devasthanam was held on Tuesday in the meeting hall of the office building. The council president, Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu, participated via video conference, while the executive officer M. Srinivasa Rao, members, and special invitees attended in person.

A total of six agenda items were discussed in the meeting, with approval granted for two items. Two items were postponed, while another two were rejected. It was decided to discuss the remaining 21 agenda items in the next meeting scheduled for the 11th of this month.

The meeting resolved to conduct the Yoga Andhra program in a planned manner, with a special yoga event on June 11 and a grand celebration for International Yoga Day on June 21. It was suggested to carry out extensive publicity to encourage local residents and pilgrims to participate in these events. As part of environmental conservation, it was decided to prepare an action plan to plant 5,000 to 6,000 saplings in the field area during the upcoming monsoon season. Members recommended focusing on the cultivation of shade-giving plants as well as sacred trees. The Dharmakartas Council decided to prepare plans for the construction of a Pilgrims Amenities Complex similar to Tirumala to improve facilities for devotees and to expedite the construction of the queue complex. Additionally, it suggested further strengthening sanitation management. Furthermore, it was resolved in the meeting to increase the monthly remuneration of the staff working at the Jyotissiddhavatam temple, which is adopted by the Srisailaksetra.
