On the occasion of their retirement, Mr. Vemuri Prasad and his wife Mrs. Venkatalakshmi from the Andhra Pradesh Department of Information and Public Relations (I & PR) donated ₹1,01,116 to the Sri Ammavari Nitya Annadanam scheme with devotion. This donation was presented as a gift to Sri Ammavari in the names of their son-in-law Krishna and daughter Sri Sai Sindhura. The couple officially presented this donation in a ceremony held in the presence of temple officials and priests, receiving the blessings of Sri Ammavari.

During this occasion, Vemuri Prasad stated that they decided to associate the significant milestone of retirement with a spiritual service program by contributing their share to the Sri Ammavari Nitya Annadanam scheme. He expressed happiness in being part of this noble cause, emphasizing the belief that annadanam is a great donation. Temple officials praised the couple's generosity, noting that donations from devotees would further enhance the effectiveness of the Nitya Annadanam scheme.

Subsequently, the priests offered Vedic blessings and provided special blessings to the couple. This donation program, which stands as a testament to devotion, philanthropy, and a spirit of service, received accolades from the devotees. The ₹1,01,116 donation made by Vemuri Prasad and Venkatalakshmi is expected to further strengthen the annadanam services.
