Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the tragic boat accident in the Krishna River near Konuru in Palnadu district, which claimed the lives of four people.
Currently on an official visit to Singapore, the Chief Minister immediately reviewed the situation after learning about the incident. He spoke with the district collector and other senior officials over the phone and directed them to ensure swift rescue and relief measures.
Naidu conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and assured them of the government's full support during this difficult time. He also instructed officials to provide all necessary assistance to those affected by the tragedy.
As an immediate relief measure, the Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia of ₹5 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
The state government is closely monitoring the situation, while local authorities continue their efforts to assist the affected families and investigate the circumstances that led to the accident.
