The Railway Protection Force Vijayawada Division of South Coast Railway, delivered an impressive performance throughout June 2026, reinforcing its commitment to passenger safety, security and public welfare.
RPF personnel recovered lost belongings worth over ₹26 lakh and successfully returned them to their rightful owners across the Division.
As part of its special operations, the RPF rescued 62 trafficked and missing children, arrested five ganja smugglers with 28 kg of narcotics valued at over ₹14 lakh, and cracked several cases involving theft, chain snatching, ticket touting and railway property offences.
The force also reunited vulnerable and elderly persons with their families, acted against stone-pelting incidents, and removed unauthorised encroachments to enhance railway safety.
Divisional Railway Manager praised the dedication, professionalism and vigilance of the RPF staff, reaffirming the Division's commitment to maintaining a safe, secure and passenger-friendly railway network.
