The Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam is fully prepared to host the Ashada Sare Offering Festival from July 15 to August 12, with comprehensive arrangements made to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for devotees. Temple Executive Officer V.K. Sheena Naik inspected the preparations and said devotees offering the ceremonial saree must first register at Kanaka Durga Nagar before entering the designated queue for darshan.
To improve convenience, the temple has set up a cloakroom, free footwear storage, and mobile phone deposit counters at the registration point. After registration, devotees will proceed through the ₹100 Bhavani Anugraha Darshan queue, offer the ceremonial saree at the Mahamandapam, receive temple honors and blessings, and then be served Annaprasadam before exiting the temple. The EO also held a high-level meeting with senior police officials to review security, traffic, and crowd management plans for the month-long festival.
Temple authorities and the police have coordinated detailed arrangements to ensure the event is conducted safely and efficiently. The festival will officially begin at 7:30 a.m. on July 15, with temple priests offering the first ceremonial saree to Goddess Kanaka Durga.
