The Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam has announced special arrangements for the annual Ashada Sare offerings, scheduled from 15 July to 12 August 2026 as part of the Ashada Masam celebrations.
Devotees, temples and religious organisations wishing to offer Ashada Sare to Goddess Kanaka Durga must complete registration at the temple counter and carry the issued confirmation slip. Registered devotees will be allowed to proceed to the temple through the designated route via Kanaka Durga Nagar and the Maha Mandapam, following the arrangements made by the temple administration. The ceremonial presentation of the first Ashada Sare will begin at 7:30 am on 15 July, starting from the Om Bend on Ghat Road, led by the temple's chief priests, Vedic scholars and officiating archakas. After the offering, devotees will receive blessings at the Goddess shrine established on the sixth floor of the Maha Mandapam. Temple authorities have prohibited mobile phones and cameras for Sare offering groups inside the temple premises. Devotees have been advised to deposit their footwear, luggage and mobile phones at Kanaka Durga Nagar before entering the temple. Officials also warned that any mobile phones found inside the temple complex or on the sixth floor of the Maha Mandapam will be confiscated and sealed as per temple regulations.
