A large number of devotees gathered at the revered Kanaka Durga Temple on Indrakeeladri on the third day of the Ashada Sare festival, offering turmeric, vermilion, bangles and traditional sarees to Goddess Kanaka Durga, whom many worship as the cherished daughter of their family.
By 5pm, 27 Sare groups with 15,968 devotees had taken part in the sacred ritual.
To ensure seamless arrangements, the temple administration reserved the ₹100 Bhavani Anugraha Darshan queue exclusively for Sare devotees. Executive Officer Sheena Nayak reviewed the registration process, queue management and darshan arrangements. Trust Board Chairman Borra Radhakrishna said a well-organised system had been introduced this year for registration, darshan, Sare offerings, blessings and Annaprasadam.
Additional temple buses, along with enhanced traffic management around Kanaka Durga Nagar, ensured a safe and convenient pilgrimage for devotees arriving from across Andhra Pradesh.
