Indrakeeladri Master Plan Gains Momentum as Officials Review Major Temple Development Projects

A high-level review meeting was held at the Endowments Commissioner’s Office in Gollapudi to accelerate the comprehensive development of the revered Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple at Indrakeeladri.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath, Endowments Secretary Kannababu, Commissioner K. Ramachandra Mohan, NTR District Collector G. Lakshmisha and other senior officials assessed key infrastructure projects aimed at improving the pilgrim experience. Authorities directed that the new Annaprasadam Complex and Laddu Prasadam Kitchen be completed and opened before the upcoming Shravana Masam.

Detailed discussions also focused on fast-tracking the Indrakeeladri Master Plan, including a multi-level parking facility, the proposed second ghat road and long-term infrastructure upgrades. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to delivering safer, smarter and more convenient facilities as pilgrim footfall continues to rise, with the overarching goal of enhancing devotee satisfaction.
