Srisailam Temple offers sacred invitations to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba for Varuna Yagam.

The Srisailam Temple ceremonially offered sacred invitation scrolls to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba ahead of the Varuna Yagam and Sahasra Ghata Abhishekam, scheduled from 7 to 11 August.

The five-day spiritual observance is dedicated to seeking divine blessings for timely rainfall, relief from drought, abundant harvests, and the prosperity of the State and the nation.

 The programme includes Vedic homams, japas, parayanams, special archanas, and the grand Sahasra Ghata Abhishekam on 10 August, concluding with Poornahuti and Kalashodvasana on 11 August. The invitation ceremony was conducted as per ancient temple traditions in the presence of MLA Budda Rajasekhara Reddy, Temple Trust Board Chairman Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu, Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao, trustees, priests, Vedic scholars, and temple officials.
