Vijayawada Police Families Offer Ashada Sare to Kanaka Durga

Vijayawada police families turned up in force, offering Ashada Sare to Kanaka Durga with devotion, tradition and heartfelt prayers.

Vijayawada City Police personnel, along with their families, took part in a grand procession on Thursday evening to offer Ashada Sare to Goddess Sri Kanaka Durga at the Indrakeeladri temple. Temple Chairman Borra Radhakrishna and Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik warmly welcomed the police procession with traditional temple honours.

City Police Commissioner Rajasekhar Babu and his wife, DCP Gunnam Ramakrishna, West ACP Durgarao, One Town CI Guna Ram and other police families participated in the spiritual event. After darshan, devotees received Vedic blessings and prasadam. The police families offered Sare at the Goddess’s shrine on the sixth floor of the Maha Mandapam and sought Her divine blessings.
