Andhra Pradesh Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy temple in Vijayawada and offered special prayers.
Temple officials and priests accorded him a traditional welcome and arranged special darshan, followed by Vedic blessings and prasadam. The minister inspected ongoing development works and reviewed preparations for the upcoming Dasara Sharannavarathri celebrations.
He directed officials to work in close coordination to ensure devotees face no inconvenience, with focus on queue management, drinking water, sanitation, medical aid and security. He also called for smooth VIP and general darshan, along with advance arrangements for traffic, parking, shuttle services and emergency response. Stressing cleanliness and quality, he ordered the temple master plan works to be completed within the stipulated timeline without compromising standards. The minister said improving pilgrim facilities and developing temples remain key priorities, and urged officials to conduct Dasara celebrations on a grand scale befitting the State’s stature.
