Devotee Donates Gold Jewellery Worth ₹21 Lakh to Vijayawada Durga Temple

A Vijayawada devotee has made a heartfelt offering, gifting precious gold jewellery to the temple for the Goddess’s festive adornment.

A devotee has donated a gold ornament worth around ₹21 lakh to the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam on Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada.

T. Tava Pullamma of Seetharampuram offered the 141-gram gold Radha-Krishna necklace as a devotional offering for the temple’s festivities. The donation was formally received in the presence of Temple Chairman Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi), Trust Board member Ramabrahmam and Superintendent Satyanarayana. Temple officials issued receipt No. 197 and said the jewellery will be used for the Goddess’s decoration after special prayers. The offering reflects the devotee’s faith and commitment to the temple.
