A major industrial accident was reported at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Monday, triggering panic within the facility. According to preliminary reports, hot metal buckets attached to a ladle collapsed during operations, leading to a massive spill of molten steel. 

The incident reportedly occurred while workers were engaged in routine operations near the hot metal handling area. The molten steel is believed to have splashed onto several workers, causing severe injuries. Multiple casualties are feared, though officials have yet to confirm the exact number of deaths.

Emergency response teams rushed to the site immediately after the accident. Rescue and relief operations are underway, while injured workers have been shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. Authorities have cordoned off the affected area to facilitate rescue efforts and assess the extent of the damage.

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident. Officials are expected to release a detailed statement once the rescue operation is completed and casualty figures are verified.
