Nalgonda Railway Station is undergoing a major facelift under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at a cost of ₹17.01 crore, with redevelopment works nearing completion to enhance passenger comfort, accessibility and convenience.
The project includes a new 12-metre-wide Foot Over Bridge, expanded platform shelters, upgraded circulating areas, improved waiting halls, lifts, parking facilities,
Divyang-friendly amenities, modern signage and a revamped station façade. Serving nearly 3,000 passengers and 44 trains daily,
the upgraded station is set to strengthen connectivity to Hyderabad and surrounding regions while offering a safer, smarter and world-class travel experience.
