Continuous heavy rainfall has made commuting across Mumbai increasingly difficult, with waterlogged roads, traffic congestion, and disruptions to rail and air services affecting daily life. Authorities have advised residents to avoid non-essential travel as the city continues to experience intense monsoon conditions. 

Several low-lying areas remain flooded, slowing vehicular movement and causing delays in public transport. Commuters have reported long travel times due to traffic snarls, while local train and Metro services have faced operational challenges in some sections

. Strong winds and persistent rain have also increased the risk of falling trees, damaged infrastructure, and reduced visibility on roads. Civic agencies and emergency teams are on alert to respond to weather-related incidents across the city.

 Weather officials have forecast more heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours, raising concerns about further flooding and disruption. Citizens have been urged to stay indoors unless necessary, avoid waterlogged areas, and follow advisories issued by local authorities.
