Earlier in the day, PM Modi received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from members of the Indian diaspora in Melbourne. Cultural performances showcasing India's rich heritage and the deep people-to-people ties between the two nations marked the occasion, reflecting the growing warmth in bilateral relations.
The visit is expected to further strengthen trade, investment and strategic cooperation between India and Australia as both countries seek to play a larger role in shaping the Indo-Pacific economic landscape.
