The ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar entered a critical phase after social innovator and activist Sonam Wangchuk reportedly showed signs of dehydration during his continued fast. Medical personnel monitoring the protest expressed concern over his health and advised immediate precautions to avoid further complications.

 Several student leaders participating in the hunger strike were also examined by doctors, who warned them against taking part in long protest marches or physically demanding activities. According to medical teams, prolonged fasting has weakened many participants, making strenuous movement risky

. Despite growing health concerns, protesters remain determined to continue their agitation and press for their demands. Supporters from different student groups and civil society organizations have continued gathering at the protest site, turning Jantar Mantar into a major centre of public dissent.

The worsening condition of fasting protesters has intensified calls for dialogue and a peaceful resolution. With concerns mounting over the health of those on strike, attention is now focused on whether authorities will intervene to address the issues raised by the demonstrators.
