New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has concluded that there is no evidence linking Sanjeev Kumar, also known as Sanjeev Mukhiya, to the alleged NEET-UG 2024 paper leak.
According to the agency's findings, the investigation did not establish his involvement in stealing, circulating, or facilitating the leak of the examination question paper. Consequently, Mukhiya has not been named in the CBI's chargesheet filed in the case.
The CBI stated that its investigation focused on identifying those responsible for the alleged leak and uncovering the larger conspiracy behind the incident. Several accused have been chargesheeted based on the evidence collected during the probe.
The NEET-UG 2024 paper leak had sparked nationwide concern over the integrity of competitive examinations, prompting the Centre to hand over the investigation to the CBI. The agency's probe is continuing against other accused linked to the case
