Kuwait City/Washington:
Kuwait has firmly denied reports claiming it participated in recent US military strikes on Iran. Kuwait’s Ambassador to the United States, Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, dismissed the allegations as “utterly and completely baseless,” stressing that Kuwait was not involved in any military operation against Iran.
The ambassador said the circulating claims are false and reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to regional stability and diplomatic solutions. She emphasized that Kuwait continues to support efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East through dialogue rather than military action.
The clarification comes amid heightened regional tensions and widespread speculation over the involvement of Gulf nations in US military operations. Kuwait’s statement seeks to dispel misinformation and underline its neutral position on the ongoing crisis.
