Special prayers at the Shringeri Peetham temple.

Shringeri Sharada Peetham's North Acharya Jagadguru Sri Vidyashankara Bharati Mahaswami visited the temple today, offering special prayers after having the darshan of Sri Swami Ammavaru. Upon the arrival of the Mahaswami at the temple, he was traditionally welcomed with a full pot (Poornakumbha) by M. Srinivasa Rao, the temple administration officer, members of the board of trustees, archakas, Vedic scholars, and temple officials at the Rajagopuram.

Subsequently, the Mahaswami had the darshan of Sri Swami Ammavaru and participated in various puja activities. Later, in the Ashirvachana Mandapam within the temple premises, a Veda Goshthi was conducted in honor of the Mahaswami, and the Guru Vandana program was held with great grandeur. During this occasion, the Mahaswami delivered a blessing discourse, elaborating on the significance of Sanatana Dharma, the glory of the Kshetra, and the spiritual importance of the Shiva Ananda Lahari and Saundarya Lahari stotras to the devotees.

Finally, the Mahaswami bestowed blessings upon all the devotees.
