Thousands of devotees throng Uppal Velugu Gutta temple on rare Maha Shiva Yoga

Special rituals and Panchamruta Abhishekam were performed as large crowds of devotees offered prayers throughout the day at the temple.

Thousands of devotees flocked to the Velugu Gutta Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Uppal on Monday to mark the rare Maha Shiva Yoga, coinciding with Krishna Chaturdashi, Ardra Nakshatra, Masa Shivaratri and Monday.

Temple authorities described the celestial alignment as a highly auspicious occasion. Devotees participated in Panchamruta Abhishekam, Archana and special prayers from early morning until late evening, seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva.

Temple Chairman Gorige Pedda Mallesh Kuruma, Executive Officer Srikanth, Founder Trustee and High Court Advocate Gorige Mallesh Kuruma, Director Srikanth Reddy, Srinivas Goud, Murali, Raju, Bandari Manjula and other dignitaries attended the celebrations.
