India’s medical assistance has successfully reached Iran and has been handed over to the Iran Red Crescent Society, according to the Indian Embassy. Officials stated that the aid will be highly beneficial for the people of Iran. The Red Crescent Society expressed happiness as the support arrived at a time when the country’s healthcare system is under severe strain. Ongoing missile attacks linked to the US-Israel conflict have not only impacted military installations but also caused civilian casualties, worsening the humanitarian situation. In this critical time, India, along with several other countries, is extending support to Iran through humanitarian assistance.
