A group of key Muslim-majority nations has strongly condemned a recent law introduced by Israel, warning that it could undermine Palestinian rights and destabilize the region. Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates issued a joint statement criticizing the move. The foreign ministers of these countries signed the statement, expressing serious concern over the implications of the new legislation. They stated that the law violates international law and fundamental human rights. The countries warned that the law could be used as a tool against Palestinians, particularly those living in the West Bank. They raised fears that it may enable discriminatory practices and further suppress Palestinian communities. The statement also accused Israeli policies of challenging the very existence of Palestine and described the move as an escalation of oppression. It cautioned that such actions could derail ongoing peace efforts in the Middle East and pose a serious threat to regional stability. Analysts believe the development could further heighten tensions across West Asia if diplomatic efforts fail to address the growing concerns.
