U.S. President Donald Trump has strongly praised Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, calling him a “powerful leader” with a proven track record of delivering results for his country.

In a statement, Trump highlighted Orbán’s leadership style, emphasizing his focus on protecting Hungary, strengthening the economy, creating jobs, promoting trade, and enforcing law and order. He also noted Orbán’s tough stance on illegal immigration, describing it as a key factor in Hungary’s governance.

Trump said that relations between the United States and Hungary reached “new heights of cooperation” during his administration, attributing much of that progress to Orbán’s leadership. He expressed optimism about continued collaboration between the two nations in the future.

Reaffirming his political backing, Trump stated he was proud to have endorsed Orbán during Hungary’s 2022 elections and announced he is “honored to do so again,” signaling renewed support for the Hungarian leader.

The statement underscores the ongoing political alignment between the two leaders, particularly on issues such as national sovereignty, immigration control, and economic policy.
