Washington, April 29, 2026:
Donald Trump has issued a strong warning on nuclear proliferation in the Middle East, stating that the United States will not allow its adversaries to develop nuclear weapons under any circumstances.
Speaking during an interaction linked to the visit of King Charles III, Trump said the US is currently engaged in strategic and military efforts in the region. He claimed that a key opponent has already been “militarily defeated” and stressed that Washington remains committed to ensuring long-term security.
Trump further asserted that King Charles shares his view on the issue, remarking that both leaders are aligned on preventing nuclear armament in the region. However, there has been no official statement from the British side confirming such a position.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions involving Iran and ongoing concerns over its nuclear ambitions. The US has consistently maintained that stopping nuclear proliferation remains central to its Middle East policy.
Trump’s comments reinforce a hardline stance, signaling that Washington is prepared to continue both diplomatic and military measures to counter any emerging nuclear threat.
