London, May 17:
Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of London in a high-voltage protest against radical Islamist extremism, waving Union Jack and American flags while chanting strong pro-US slogans.
Protesters carried banners reading “Stop Islamic Extremism,” “Defend Western Values,” and “Stand With America.” The rally drew large crowds demanding tougher action against extremist ideologies and stronger national security measures.
Several speakers accused political leaders of being too soft on radical elements and warned that unchecked extremism poses a serious threat to public safety and social cohesion across Europe.
Crowds repeatedly cheered in support of the United States, praising Washington’s hardline stance on terrorism and calling for closer cooperation between the UK and US to combat global extremist networks. A heavy police presence was deployed across central London to maintain order.
The demonstration remained largely peaceful, but the fiery rhetoric reflected growing public anger over security concerns and immigration policies.
