US Reaffirms Commitment to Kuwait, Gulf Security: Rubio

The United States and Kuwait reaffirm their commitment to Gulf security, regional stability, and freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held talks with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al Sabah, highlighting the strong partnership between the two countries and their shared commitment to regional security.

 The discussions focused on maintaining stability across the Gulf, strengthening cooperation between allies, and ensuring freedom of navigation through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. Both sides emphasized the importance of working together to support peace, security, and economic stability in the region

. The meeting comes as Gulf nations continue to monitor regional developments and seek closer coordination on security and diplomatic efforts.
