Hong Kong, July 3:
Hong Kong celebrated the 29th anniversary of its return to China with a breathtaking drone light show over Victoria Harbour on Wednesday night.
A total of 2,026 drones lit up the sky in a synchronized display, creating stunning formations including rockets, astronauts, stars and other space-inspired visuals. The performance attracted large crowds, with spectators gathering along the harbourfront to witness the aerial spectacle.
The themed show highlighted China's advances in space exploration while serving as a centerpiece of the anniversary celebrations. The illuminated drones moved in perfect coordination, transforming the city's skyline into a vibrant canvas of animated images.
The drone performance was part of a series of events held across Hong Kong to mark the anniversary, alongside official ceremonies, cultural programmes and community celebrations.
