Officials have initiated actions to collect voter details in Uppal. Uppal Tahsildar Pool Singh Chauhan has directed that comprehensive details of voters aged 40 and above in the current voter list be gathered.
In this regard, booth level officers (BLOs) and supervisors have been instructed to visit households in the polling station areas under their jurisdiction to register voter details. Speaking at a meeting held at the Tahsildar's office on Friday, he stated that a full-scale survey should be conducted in the polling station areas ranging from 362 to 407.
In this program, BLOs and supervisors are mandated to participate and submit the collected details as a comprehensive report to the office. Meanwhile, on Saturday, Tahsildar Pool Singh Chauhan visited the area of polling station number 396 and reviewed the voter lists.
He personally inquired about voter details by going door to door, with a special focus on collecting information about those aged 40 and above. Revenue staff, junior assistants, and relevant officials participated in this program.
