Hyderabad, June 30: Hyderabad has added another milestone to its growing aerospace ecosystem with Canadian electronics manufacturer Firan Technology Group (FTG) launching its first manufacturing facility in India at the GMR Aerospace & Industrial Park near Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

The new unit will manufacture advanced aerospace electronic systems and components for international aviation and defence programmes. The investment is expected to enhance India's role in the global aerospace supply chain while creating opportunities for skilled employment and advanced manufacturing.

The facility has been established within the integrated aerospace park, which hosts several global aviation and defence companies. Industry leaders said the expansion reflects increasing confidence in Hyderabad's infrastructure, talent pool and business-friendly environment.

 With this investment, Hyderabad continues to strengthen its reputation as one of India's leading aerospace and aviation manufacturing destinations, attracting global companies looking to expand their operations in the country.
