In the Shikhara Pratishtha, Balipitham, and Simhavahana Pratishtha Mahotsav held at the Sri Kanakadurga Temple in Bank Colony, Uppal, Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshmareddy and BRS state leader Bunnala Praveen Mudiraj participated as chief guests.

On this occasion, special prayers were conducted to receive the blessings of the goddess. Vedic scholars provided Veda Ashirvachanam, while members of the temple committee honored MLA Bandari Lakshmareddy and Bunnala Praveen Mudiraj with shawls. A large number of BRS leaders, temple committee members, local dignitaries, and devotees participated in the event.
