Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy has directed officials to complete the pending key development projects on a war footing.
During a review meeting held at the MMC headquarters in Tarnaka, the progress of various pending works including the AOC project land acquisition, TKR flyover, RK Puram ROB, and Uppal flyover was assessed. The Commissioner instructed officials to expedite the land transfer process allocated by the state government in lieu of defense department land concerning the AOC project and to send a letter to the Medchal-Malkajgiri district collector immediately.
He also suggested that the land acquisition process for railway lands be completed swiftly. The Commissioner directed that a meeting with the consultant regarding the DPR for the construction of the new MMC office building be held within two days, and he discussed the TDR policy with building owners affected by the TKR flyover construction. Several owners agreed to accept TDR, and they were assured that the TDR issuance process would be expedited. Regarding the RK Puram ROB works, it was noted that 34 property owners had agreed to the TDR, and they would soon be issued TDR. Additionally, the Commissioner instructed the engineering and town planning officials to prioritize the completion of the remaining foundation works for the Uppal flyover and the land acquisition towards Ramantapur.
