Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy, IAS, carried out a comprehensive field inspection across Uppal Bhagayath and Ramanthapur Bhagayath, reviewing key civic infrastructure, sanitation, urban planning, revenue administration and biodiversity initiatives.
Stressing efficient governance and better public services, the Commissioner issued a series of directions to officials for the timely execution of development works. He instructed engineering officials to expedite pending CC road works, complete streetlight repairs in Uppal Bhagayath Phase-II, and prepare detailed proposals for a stormwater drain from Amberpet STP to Uppal Bhagayath D-Mart.
The Commissioner also called for the installation of a "Welcome to Uppal – MMC" gateway.
He ordered strict action against encroachments, illegal parking and unauthorised C&D waste dumping, while directing officials to strengthen property tax assessments, enhance greenery along nala stretches, and ensure coordinated efforts across departments to deliver cleaner, safer and more citizen-friendly civic infrastructure.
