Hyderabad:
Bhongir Member of Parliament Chamal Kiran Kumar Reddy alleged that BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) is attempting to retain party cadres by promoting what he described as "bogus surveys" amid fears that the party is losing public confidence.
The Congress MP claimed that the BRS leadership was creating a false narrative about returning to power in Telangana and accused KTR of indulging in "daydreams" about the party's political comeback.
Referring to the Jubilee Hills by-election, Chamal Kiran Kumar Reddy said similar claims had been made by BRS leaders before the polls, but voters ultimately delivered a decisive victory to the Congress party.
He further stated that the Congress has continued to receive public support in successive elections, which, according to him, reflects the people's trust in the party's governance and leadership.
The MP alleged that concerns over declining public support were driving the BRS leadership to make unfounded claims and engage in misleading political campaigns.
