Medchal–Malkajgiri Additional Collector Vijayender Reddy has directed officials to speed up the collection and digitisation of forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
During an inspection of Enumeration Centres set up at Polling Stations 375 and 376 in Uppal on Tuesday, he stressed that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) play a key role in guiding voters through the form-filling process.
He instructed BLOs to create greater public awareness, assist voters in completing their forms accurately, and promptly digitise all submitted applications.
The Additional Collector also asked officials to address voter queries without delay to ensure the SIR exercise is completed efficiently and smoothly. Uppal MRO Pool Singh, AEROs, BLOs and other election officials were present during the inspection.
