Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the redeveloped Hi-Tech City Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, as part of the nationwide dedication of 75 modernised railway stations across 20 states.
Redeveloped at a cost of ₹35.61 crore, the station now features a modern station building, upgraded waiting halls, lifts, escalators, improved signage and enhanced accessibility for passengers.
Speaking at the Hyderabad programme, MLC A.V.N. Reddy said the initiative reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of transforming Indian Railways into a modern, world-class transport network.
He also noted that railway infrastructure projects worth over ₹40,000 crore are currently underway in Telangana, significantly improving connectivity and supporting the state's overall development.
