Uppal Press Club Marks Independence Day with Patriotic Spirit

Uppal’s press fraternity celebrates freedom with flag-hoisting, heartfelt tributes, police camaraderie and a proper nod to journalism’s public-service role.

Independence Day celebrations at Uppal Press Club were held in a proper festive spirit, with journalists unfurling the Tricolour and paying tribute to freedom fighters.

Senior police officials, including Uppal ACP Venkata Reddy, Traffic ACP Sampath Kumar and other officers, joined the do. They extended greetings and urged citizens to uphold the ideals and sacrifices of national heroes. Officials also praised journalists for highlighting public issues and acting as a bridge between people and the administration. They assured continued support for the Press Club’s development and journalists’ welfare. President Vemula Tirupathi Reddy, General Secretary Gyarampalli Shivaji and other office-bearers and senior journalists attended.
