Major Security Breach at Army Facility; AK-47s, Pistols and INSAS Rifle Missing
Hyderabad: A sensational weapons theft at the Madras Regiment in Hyderabad has raised serious security concerns. As many as 12 weapons reportedly went missing from an armoury, triggering alarm within security circles.
According to preliminary information, thieves allegedly broke open the lock of an armoury room and escaped with four AK-47 rifles, six pistols and one INSAS rifle, along with ammunition.
How Did the Weapons Disappear From a Secured Army Facility?
The incident has raised serious questions over security arrangements at the military establishment. With access to such premises strictly controlled, investigators are reportedly examining whether there was any inside involvement in the theft.

Bollaram Police Launch Probe
Army authorities reportedly lodged a complaint after discovering the missing weapons. Bollaram Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
