Nalgonda visit denied.. BJP furious over Ramachandra Rao's arrest – serious allegations against Congress government
Hyderabad: Political tensions in Telangana are escalating further. BJP state president N. Ramachandra Rao expressed his strong anger over the police placing him under house arrest while he attempted to visit Nalgonda. Following an attack and vandalism at the residence of Nalgonda BJP district president Nagam Varshith Reddy, Ramachandra Rao decided to visit Nalgonda to console him.
“I strongly condemn my arrest. I was prevented from going to Nalgonda. They attacked our district president and demolished his house. I severely condemn the attitude and actions of the Congress government,” Ramachandra Rao fumed.
The BJP alleges that family members of Nagam Varshith Reddy were also attacked during the incident at his home. In this context, Ramachandra Rao criticized the obstruction of his visit to console the affected family as an assault on democratic rights.
“What is the intention of the Congress government behind preventing me from going to Nalgonda, where democracy is in danger?” Ramachandra Rao questioned. He accused the government of suppressing democratic voices by detaining opposition leaders and activists.
The BJP is demanding a thorough investigation into the Nalgonda incident and strict action against those responsible. Meanwhile, political tensions between Congress and BJP in Nalgonda have intensified due to this incident.
