Hyderabad: The Nampally court has accepted the remand report filed by Hyderabad City Police against two BRS MLCs in connection with alleged inappropriate remarks against the Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker and an alleged assault involving police officials.

The police reportedly placed evidence before the court in support of the allegations and submitted the remand report in accordance with the law. The court took the report on record.

During the proceedings, the MLCs sought bail, pointing out that the Telangana Legislative Assembly is currently in session and that, as elected representatives, they are required to attend the proceedings of the House.

The case relates to the alleged conduct involving remarks against the Speaker and the alleged confrontation with police officials. Further legal proceedings in the matter are expected to continue.
