A serious case involving allegations of fraudulent marriage, sexual assault, and financial exploitation has surfaced in Hyderabad, with police launching an investigation following a complaint by a young woman. According to police sources, the incident was initially reported at the Kukatpally Police Station.

The complainant alleged that a man, identified as Nawaz, approached her under the pretext of renting a commercial space and later developed a personal relationship with her. The woman claimed that the accused misrepresented his identity and religion, eventually marrying her in June 2025. After the marriage, the couple reportedly moved to the Panjagutta area. In her complaint, the woman alleged that shortly after the wedding, she was subjected to physical and sexual abuse.

 She further stated that she was drugged during a gathering at their residence and assaulted by multiple individuals known to the आरोपी. Police sources confirmed that a Zero FIR related to the assault allegations was registered and later transferred to Panjagutta police for further investigation.

The complainant also accused the man of concealing previous marriages and misusing her financial assets. She alleged that he took loans in her name, acquired control over her property and gold, and later absconded. Additionally, the woman informed police that the accused was allegedly involved in illegal financial transactions, including suspected hawala operations. Police have registered cases related to cheating, criminal breach of trust, and other relevant sections. Officials stated that an investigation is underway to verify the allegations, identify other accused persons, and trace the main suspect. Authorities have urged the public not to speculate and assured that appropriate action will be taken based on evidence.
