New Delhi, July 1:

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has climbed to the No.1 spot in the latest ICC Men's T20I batting rankings, replacing fellow Indian opener Abhishek Sharma at the top.

Kishan's consistent performances in recent T20 internationals earned him the highest ranking of his career. His aggressive batting and ability to score quickly have helped him move ahead of Abhishek, who had occupied the No.1 position for several months.

The latest rankings underline India's dominance in T20 cricket, with two Indian batters occupying the top positions. Kishan's rise is seen as a reward for his outstanding form and match-winning contributions in recent matches.

Abhishek Sharma remains among the top-ranked batters, keeping India firmly in control of the ICC T20I batting rankings. With more international fixtures ahead, the race for the No.1 spot is expected to remain highly competitive.
