Norway kept their FIFA World Cup 2026 dream alive with a thrilling 2-1 win over Côte d'Ivoire in the Round of 32, thanks to a late winner from Erling Haaland.
Norway opened the scoring in the first half after Antonio Nusa found the net with a composed finish. Côte d'Ivoire fought back after the break and levelled the match through Amad Diallo, setting up a tense finish.
With extra time looming, Haaland delivered the decisive moment, scoring in the closing stages to restore Norway's lead and send his team into the Round of 16.
Côte d'Ivoire pressed hard for an equaliser in stoppage time, but Norway's defence stood firm to secure a memorable victory.
